Aim. To study the peculiarities of coronary artery atherosclerosis according to data of selective coronaroangiography (SCAG) and frequency of major risk factors in male patients of yakut nationality with coronary heart disease (CHD).
Material and methods. 148 Yakut and Russian males with CHD have been involved in the research. They were in-patients at cardiology unit, Republican hospital's the 1st National Medicine Center, Yakutsk during 2004-2006. Patients have been divided into 2 clinical groups: 1 - Yakut males with CHD (n=74, average age is 53,8±0,9 года): 2- Russian males with CHD (n=74, average age is 52,9±0,9 года). The study was based on anamnesis data, clinical examination, electrocardiography, echocardiography, selective coronaroangiography, laboratory methods of examination.
Results. The Yakuts more frequently have 1-vascular lesion of CA according to SCAG.
The frequency of lesion left anterior descending artery (LAD) and right coronary artery (RCA) is equal in both groups, at the same time occlusion of RISA more frequently occurred in group 1 (61% against 42% in group 2), and occlusion of RCA more often occurred in group 2 (46% against 21% in group 1).
Conclusion. Atherosclerosis of CA among Yakut patients with CHD is expressed less.
Purpose. Study of the clinical effectiveness of succine acid and vitamins compositional solution in parodontitis.
Materials and methods. 49 patients aged 30-47 with chronic generalized parodontitis of lower severity were examined and then treated. Stomatologic state of patients was estimated based on a generally accepted method. The treatment was conducted by transmembranous dialysis of the compositional solution of succine acid and vitamins B1, PP and C in a focus of the lesion. The control group took preparations by means of a gingival dressing.
Results. In patients treated with transmembranous dialysis of the compositional solution of succine acid and vitamins B1, PP and C the inflammatory process completely calmed down in parodont within 7 days. In the contrast, in patients tested by the same preparation, but in composition of the gingival dressing the inflammation was noted.
Conclusion. Use of transmembranous dialysis of the compositional solution of succine acid and vitamins B1, PP and C has an advantage over the way of its application with the gingival dressing, possibly, it related to more protracted preservation of the preparations in the affected focus.
Purpose. To conduct clinical computed tomographical confrontations in ischemic and hemorrhagic characters of the insult (clinical manifestations, size and localization of the brain’s focal lesion).
Materials and methods. Clinical and computed tomorgraphical data have been generalized and worked up based on 1025 case reports of in-patients with insult, who were treated in the neurovascular department RH ¹2 – Medical Centre of Emergency Care for 2002-2004.
Results. In 7.4% cases infarcts were of extensive size, in 19.5 of large, 41.7 of mean and in 13.4 of lacunar focal lesions. The only 18% cases were noted with no pathology. The clinical picture of the extensive and large infarcts was characterized by severe and very complicated state. Hemispheric hematomas were observed in 87.7% cases, ventricular-stem were localized in 11.1%, lateral heamtomas were more frequent - 29.2%. The largest volume of intracerebral hematoma was noted in a mixed type (67,9 sm1 ). In 35.7% cases the blood broke through ventricular system of the brain. This complication was more often noted (55.2%) in the mixed type of hemorrhage.
Conclusion. The insult clinical course depends on volume, localization and character of the pathological focus as well as of its complicated lesion. The computed tomography introduces the brain’s condition and helps to verify the insult character.
