Aim. An estimation of a state of health of the working population living in various climatic and geographic zones of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
Methods and materials. Screening was conducted on 540 working persons in expeditional conditions by a method of complex medical examination.
Results. Signiюcant distinctions in prevalence of a pathology of organs of digestion, endocrine and nervous systems between indigenous and non-indigenous able-bodied population of the republic are established ( 48,2% to 27,6, p<0,001; 33,0% to 15,8, p<0,001; 31,2% to 20,4, p<0,01 accordingly). Regional features of prevalence of the main classes of illnesses among working population of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) are revealed. In Northern zone of the republic the illness of endocrine, nervous system and organs of breath are established authentically more often, than in the Central and Southern zones ( 49,0% to 22,7% and 12,0, p<0,001; 41,5% to 26,9 and 16,7, p<0,01; 20,5% to 5,0 and 9,5, p<0,01 accordingly).
Conclusion. Prevalence of the basic classes of illnesses among able-bodied population of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) has essential distinctions depending on the zone of residing. The highest parameters of morbidity of the working population by results of complex medical examination are observed in Northern zone of the republic.
Aim. Studying of interrelation of Q-R-S-T interval size and Q-R-S-T dispersions with sistolic, diastolic functions of left ventricle of heart and its hypertrophy among patients with postinfarction cardiosclerosis.
Methods and materials. Analysis of interrelation of Q-R-S-T interval sizes and its dispersion with intracardiac hemodynamics parameters and frequency of ventricular arrhythmia was conducted among 30 patients with postinfarction cardiosclerosis at the age from 42 to 64 years, with prescription of a myocard heart attack from 2 to 10 years.
Conclusion. The interrelation of Q-R-S-T interval and its dispersions with diastolic function of left ventricle of heart and frequency of ventricular arrhythmia occurrence among patients with postinfarction cardiosclerosis is revealed.
Aim. Comparative estimation of infectious endocarditis (IE), complicating secondary artioseptial defect course (SADC) among people living in the Far North and the middle zone of Russia.
Methods and materials. The retrospective analysis of medical histories was conducted in 2 groups of patients with a congenital valvular disease complicated with IE. There were used general clinical methods, electrocardiographic diagnostics, Xray study of the lungs, bacterial research of an operational material (inoculation from a pericardium and defect).
Results. The greatest frequency IE complicating SADC is observed in both groups of patients with duration of disease more than 21 years. Insufюciency of blood circulation (BC) in group of patients from Yakutia was detected authentically more often. A microthromboemolic syndrome was more often marked in group of sick northerners. Frequency of chronic tonsillitis among patients from Yakutia authentically exceeded a corresponding parameter among inhabitants of Western Siberia. After inoculation from a pericardium and edges of atrioseptial defect staphylococcus were sowed more often.
Conclusion. Secondary IE, complicating SADC, among people living in the Far North has severer clinical symptomatology on a background of the multiple nidus of chronic infections, than in group of inhabitants of the middle zone of Russia. In conditionalpathogenic microЯora sick northerners have prevailing staphilococcus.
In this research the material of the Yakut Research Center of Russian Academy of Medical Science and the Government of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) together with the St.-Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy within the limits of the bilateral contract with the medical insurance companies of the republic is presented. The scheme of optimization of prophylactic medical examination of the children in distant and hard to access settlements is presented.
Aim. An estimation of the maintance of a sportsmen's organism in the Far North conditions.
Methods and materials. There were examined 66 sportsmen of the Olympic reserve school and Sport of High Level school.
The content of macroelements in blood such as magnesium, calcium, phosphorus was detected.
Results. Obtained data shows that sportsmen involved in wrestling have magnesium deюciency. When mineral water with magnesium was contained in every day meal average amount of magnesium in blood increased to 35,7%.
Conclusion. The health of sportsmen, involved in kind of sport that needs high skills, is at risk and it is necessary to carry out the further examination not only of macroelements but microelements to юnd out and realize special program to protect and strengthen it.
Aim. To study prevalence of rheumatoid arthritis among rural inhabitants of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
Methods and materials. Screening questioning by the method of continuous epidemiological research of 2368 rural inhabitants over 18 years old was conducted. Then the profound clinical examination with the purpose of detecting patients suffering rheumatoid arthritis was carried out. Clinico-laboratory activity and a radiological stage of illness, and also the functional status of patients of 19 detected patients were studied.
Results. 32,2 % of respondents complained of pain in joints. 0,8% of rural inhabitants had rheumatoid arthritis. The correlation of male and female patient was 1 to 18 persons. Among patients suffering RA prevailed people over 60 years old.
Conclusion. Prevalence of RA among rural inhabitants of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) exceeds the same data of the rest Russian Federation. Females and people of older age are more subjected to RA.
Aim. An estimation of compensatory adaptive reactions of an organism with hypothermia. The experiment was held on rats.
Methods and materials. The experiment was conducted on 12 rats divided into two groups depending on time of an exposition on a cold. The control group consisted from 5 intact animals. The inЯuence of low temperature on an organism of experimental animals was estimated according to phagocyte activity of leukocytes, free-radical oxidation and antioxidant protection of an organism.
Conclusion. Animals, subjected to hypothermia in current of three hours, had more effective adaptation which was shown in reduction of neutrophils' phagocyte activity, by maintenance of balance between peroxide oxidation of lipids (POL) and antioxidant protection (AP). And rats, subjected to hypothermia in current of one hour, had failure in compensatory and adaptive reactions. It was shown in infringement of balance of POL-AP, oppressions of phagocyte activity and also non-speciюc reaction of an organism (NRO) "reactivation" in comparison with intact group of animals.
Aim. Studing of frequency of cesarean operation with prescription for operative delivery in the Perinatal Center of the Yakut Medical Research Center.
Methods and materials. An analysis of 4208 history of diseases from 2001 till 2005 years was carried out. There were involved 731 women who delivered a child with the help of cesarean operation in the puerperal department of the Perinatal Center of the Republic hospital, Yakut Medical Research Center during 2005 year.
Results. In the recent years the number of operative delivery operations has been increasing as the result of many reasons for operation that is good for fetus. The uterine scar is the юrst indication for cesarean operation. The reserves of decreasing the frequency of cesarean operation are the improvement of labor management for the natural delivery, complicated with the uterine scar, and the elaboration of the methods of estimating the existence of a scar after cesarean operation.
Conclusion. It is necessary to carefully юnd the indications for operative delivery especially if it is the юrst operation that concerns the generative function of a woman in the future.
