Abstract

The efficacy of treatment of neuroendocrine tumor metastases in the liver by transarterial chemoembolism (TACE) was assessed. In a small number of patients it was shown that TACE contributes to normalization of the general condition of patients, reduction of the intensity of carcinoid syndrome manifestations, reduction of metastatic foci, causing a positive response (partial response or stabilization) in more than half of patients.
