Brain primary tumours morbidity among the population of Republic Sakha (Yakutia) during 2000-2004
Abstract
The purpose of research. Estimation of brain primary tumours morbidity among adult and children’s population of RS (Y) during 2000 - 2004. Materials and methods. The analysis of 366 cases of brain primary tumours fixed in RS (Y) territory during 2000 - 2004. Results. It is revealed, that prevalence of brain primary tumours in RS (Y) territory is at a high level and has made 7,67 on 100.000 of population. City dwellers are sick more often. Peak of morbidity is in age group from 41 till 50 years. Tumours of brain coatings and neuroepithelium row with supratentorial localization among adult population and neuroepithelium tumours with subtentorial localization among the children’s population are most widespread.
