State of health of the working population in various zones of the SR(Y)

Abstract

Aim. An estimation of a state of health of the working population living in various climatic and geographic zones of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

Methods and materials. Screening was conducted on 540 working persons in expeditional  conditions by a method of complex medical examination.

Results. Signiюcant distinctions in prevalence of a pathology of organs of digestion, endocrine and nervous systems between indigenous and non-indigenous able-bodied population of the republic are established ( 48,2% to 27,6, p<0,001; 33,0% to 15,8, p<0,001; 31,2% to 20,4, p<0,01 accordingly). Regional features of prevalence of the main classes of illnesses among working population of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) are revealed. In Northern zone of the republic the illness of endocrine, nervous system and organs of breath are established authentically more often, than in the Central and Southern zones ( 49,0% to 22,7% and 12,0, p<0,001; 41,5% to 26,9 and 16,7, p<0,01; 20,5% to 5,0 and 9,5, p<0,01 accordingly).

Conclusion. Prevalence of the basic classes of illnesses among able-bodied population of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) has essential distinctions depending on the zone of residing. The highest parameters of morbidity of the working population by results of complex medical examination are observed in Northern zone of the republic.
