Application of regional anesthesia in the Pediatric center RH №1-NCM
Abstract
The problem of regional anesthesia used in pediatric surgery has been inadequately studied. This investigation was undertaken to develop a balanced regional anesthesia schedule and to analyze its efficiency during orthopedic operations on the lower extremities in 190 children aged 1 to 17 years. Comparative assessment of monitored indices during surgery and a need for postoperative analgesia in the groups of patients demonstrated a reliable intraoperative and effective postoperative analgesia after balanced regional anesthesia.
