Author Guidelines
Authors submitting articles to the editorial board of the Yakut Medical Journal should be guided by the following rules:
- The article must be accompanied by an official referral from the institution where the work was performed and a visa from the (scientific) supervisor on the first page, certified by the round stamp of the institution, indicating that this material has not been published in other publications.
- The material must be typed in a Word editor with with 1.5 spacing, in Times New Roman font, size 12. The article must be sent to the editors in electronic form.
- The material of the article (except for reviews, short communications) should be presented in a certain sequence with sections highlighted:
a) Introduction; b) Research materials and methods (research methods should be presented without a detailed description if they are generally accepted (with a reference to the author), but with an indication of modifications if they were introduced by the author. The statistical analysis conducted must be presented); c) Results and discussion; d) Findings or Conclusion; d) Bibliography. - The article must be accompanied by the UDC index, a brief summary (what was studied and for what purpose, what was revealed) and a line with keywords. In the translated version of the article, the summary should be expanded, 200-250 words.
- The volume of the original article, in which the author presents his/her own research and outlines the main provisions, should not exceed 8 pages, including figures, tables, literature and summaries. A larger volume (10-12 pages) is possible for reviews and lectures.
- In the information about the authors, it is necessary to indicate the full first name, patronymic, last name of each author, academic title (if any), position and place of work, contact information (phone, e-mail), full name of the institution, its postal address, ORCID.
- Information regarding a conflict of interest between the authors must also be reflected. If there is no conflict of interest, then it should be written: "The author(s) declare(s) no conflict of interest."
- Figures with captions and tables should be in a separate file, not typeset in the text. They should be referenced in the text. Figures in electronic form and captions to them are created using Word or other programs (CorelDRAW, Visio, Adobe Illustrator, Excel). The quality of figures and photographs (in .jpeg, .tiff formats) should be at least 300 dpi.
- The list of references is formatted in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7.0.5-2008. "Bibliographic reference. General requirements and rules for compilation." The list of references is formed in alphabetical order: the last names and initials of up to three authors (first domestic, then foreign). Works by more than three authors are described by title. At the end of the description of the work, its doi should be indicated (if any). Bibliographic references in the text are marked with the corresponding number in square brackets. The description of the publications of Russian authors is duplicated in English.

- The full text of the article, including the abstract and keywords, figures, tables, list of references and information about the authors, should be presented in Russian and English. In the translated version of the article, transliteration should be added to the list of references for the description of domestic works.
- Manuscripts that do not comply with the specified rules will not be considered.
- Please pay attention to the correct formatting of the translated version:
a) The abstract should disclose the content of the article, for this it should include at least 250 words, be structured, i.e. repeat the headings of the article in a brief form: Purpose of the study; Materials and methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusion or Findings. Key words are required - from 3 to 10;
b) the information about the authors must indicate the authors' surnames (transliteration); full address of each author with the name of the organization, street, postal code, city, country;
d) in the list of references, provide a combination of the transliterated and English parts of Russian-language references. Example: Galushko E.A., Nasonov E.L. Rasprostranennost' revmaticheskih zabolevanij v Rossii [Prevalence of rheumatic diseases in Russia]. Al'manah klinicheskoj mediciny [Almanac of clinical medicine. 2018; 46 (1): 32-39 (In Russ.). - Articles accepted for consideration are sent for review; those that receive a negative opinion from the editorial board are not published in the journal and are not returned. The editors do not send out reprints of articles and journals.
- Articles returned to the author with the reviewer's comments must be revised within no more than 5 days. If the article is returned to the editorial board later than the established deadline, the date of receipt of the article is replaced by the date of submission of the revised material.
- The editors reserve the right to shorten, scientifically and literary edit the submitted articles without changing their main content
- There is no fee for publishing manuscripts in the journal.
