Abstract
The knowledge obtained during long-term monitoring studies makes it possible to make a long-term forecast of possible environmental changes under conditions of climate change and anthropogenic impact. The obtained results can be used in planning programs for the socio-economic development of the Vilyui region of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) and certain administrative districts and municipalities of the republic, in developing projects for the integrated development of mineral deposits, the use of agricultural land, and environmental protection measures. Research materials should be used in the monitoring of the health status of the population and the environment by supervisory authorities.
