Abstract
The aim of the study was to search for associations of the rs 1137100 polymorphic marker of the LEPR gene with the lipid spectrum, metabolic syndrome and its components in the indigenous inhabitants of Yakutia. The study involved 227 representatives of the Yakut nationality, permanently residing in the village of Berdigestyah, Gorny region of Yakutia. A statistically significant relationship was established between allelic variant A, AA / AG genotypes of the LEPR gene with hypoalphacholesterolemia. No association with metabolic syndrome or its components was found.
