Influence of conditions and way of life on formation of circulatory system diseases in the able-bodied population
Abstract
Epidemiological research was conducted among the working-age population of different socio-territorial zones of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The development of circulatory diseases was found to be significantly affected by such socio-hygienic factors as unemployment, financial unsecurity, living conditions, the presence of harmful behaviors, and food quality. These results will be useful in the planning and design of programs to improve the socio-economic conditions of the inhabitants of the Extreme North.
