Mortality in traffic accidents in Sakha (Yakutia) Republic during 2001-2010

Abstract

The research analyzes road accidents (RA) in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) for the period 2001-2010. This includes major causes of accidents on the republic’s roads, their frequency split for different regions, as well as road accident mortality. It has been revealed that the road accident mortality on M-56 federal motorway is 2-2.5 times higher than in population aggregates.
