Botulinum therapy for writing spasm

Abstract

The article presents a clinical case of graphospasm - focal dystonia, in which the motor function of the dominant hand is disturbed, which manifests itself mainly when writing and small movements of the hand and gradually leads to disability. The clinical features of this disease at the present stage are considered and relevant methods of treatment are given, in particular botulinum therapy, which quickly and safely alleviate the patient's condition, allow achieving sustainable remission, improving the patient's social activity and quality of life.
