Pathology of the digestive system in obese children
Abstract
The article presents a review of the literature about lesions of the digestive system in metabolic syndrome with clinical, laboratory, instrumental and morphological positions.
Pathogenetic mechanisms of development of the metabolic syndrome, complications of the digestive system are considered against its background, as well as the risk to human health in the presence of abdominal obesity. The article presents data on the comorbid course of the metabolic syndrome with characteristic gastroenterological manifestations in children.
