Abstract
The article analyzes the risk factors for the development of gallstone disease on the example of patients of the surgical ward of the Republican hospital No.1 – NCM (Yakutsk, Russia) after cholecystectomy. It presents data on the analysis of the organic composition of gallstones using infrared spectrometry. It was revealed that gallstone disease is most common in hypersthenic women of the second adult stage, every third patient has a burdened familial history. Most of the examined stones were cholesterol ones. Analysis, synthesis, and accumulation of analytical material will bring to an understanding of the pathogenetic mechanisms of gallstones in the indigenous population, the role of endogenous and environmental factors, timely prevention and effective treatment of gallstone disease.
