<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents official medical data on child mortality in 5 regions of the Arctic zone of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia) for 2006-2018. For a more detailed analysis of child mortality, a special database of the state institution "Yakut Republican medical information and analytical center of the Ministry of health of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia)" is used, which includes all cases of death of a child from 0 to 18 years for 2006-2015, indicating age, gender, nationality and cause of death. The analysis of child mortality revealed the tendency of distinct decrease in infant mortality, a decrease in the share of child mortality. In general, a decrease to the minimum values of the average child mortality rates in the Arctic regions of the RS (Ya) is noted.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>смертность</kwd><kwd>Арктика</kwd><kwd>внешние причины</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>mortality</kwd><kwd>Arctic</kwd><kwd>external causes</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена в рамках темы НИР ФГБНУ «ЯНЦ КМП» «Мониторинг состояния здоровья детей Республики Саха (Якутия)» (№ госрегистрации: 0120-128-07-98), проекта 2019-1472 Министерства науки и высшего образования РФ и при финансовой поддержке гранта РФФИ (№18-05-60035_Арктика).</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">Funding: It is a part of research of the Medical science centre of complex medical problems “Children health condition monitoring in the Republic Sakha (Yakutia)” (state registration number: 0120-128-07-98); the project of the Ministry of science and higher education of the Russian Federation (2019- 1472); and with a financial support from RFBR according to the research project #18-05-60035_Arctica.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Междисциплинарный анализ социально детерминированных рисков здоровья детского населения / Н.Н.
