Во многих случаях в целях лечения устойчивых деформаций выше 55⁰ требуется проведение задней остеотомии типа педикулярной остеотомии, резекции тела позвонка. Но эти процедуры влекут за собой высокую неврологическую недостаточность и риски кровотечения, согласно мнению некоторых авторов, осложнения могут достигать 80% не только во время операции, но и спустя 6 мес. после оперативного вмешательства.Разработанная нами методика «Вращение дуги» с целью коррекции тяжелого ригидного сколиоза позволяет значимо достичь коррекции и избежать послеоперационных осложнений, связанных с остеотомиями и дискэктомиями, выполняемыми при «классическом» варианте оперативного лечения.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Surgical correction of severe idiopathic scoliosis is considered a risky procedure. In many cases, in order to treat stable deformities above 550, a posterior osteotomy such as pedicular osteotomy, resection of the vertebral body, is required.
