<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In order to study the prognostic importance of risk factors of chronic non-communicable diseases in the development of colorectal cancer (CRC) in older people, a study was conducted in a population cohort 45-69 years. It was found that the 15-year risk of developing CRC was higher in men compared to women. CRC risk was positively associated with age in both men and women. A positive family history of malignant neoplasms of any location increased the risk of developing colorectal cancer in men, and the presence of type 2 diabetes mellitus in women.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>колоректальный рак</kwd><kwd>курение</kwd><kwd>потребление алкоголя</kwd><kwd>липиды крови</kwd><kwd>СД 2-го типа</kwd><kwd>индекс массы тела</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>colorectal cancer</kwd><kwd>smoking</kwd><kwd>alcohol consumption</kwd><kwd>blood lipids</kwd><kwd>type 2 diabetes</kwd><kwd>body mass index</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Авторы благодарны проекту HAPIEE за доступ к когортному материалу и сотрудничество при проведении анализа (WT; NIA).
