Освещены основные моменты, обусловливающие условия жизни и состояние здоровья населения на Севере, формирующиеся на фоне специфической природной, в т.ч. мерзлотной, обстановки. Приведены примеры ряда заболеваний, возникающих в наиболее крупном северном регионе – Якутии в результате воздействия природных и техногенных факторов.

Here are shown the basic aspects which define living conditions and health of the Northern population which appear on the background of the specific natural situation. Some examples of typical diseases are given which appear in Northern regions of Russia in result of the effect of natural and technogenic factors.
