Депрессия, развившаяся после перенесённого инсульта, препятствует реабилитации пациентов и значительно снижает качество жизни. Обследованы пациенты с постинсультной депрессией через 1-12 месяцев после перенесённого ишемического инсульта. Больные на протяжении 6 недель получали антидепрессант флувоксамин. Проведены неврологическое, психологическое и психометрическое исследования в динамике. Установлено, что препарат эффективен как для лечения депрессии, так и тревоги у больных, перенесших ишемический инсульт, а также способствует повышению качества жизни этих больных.

Depression prevents the rehabilitation of patients and also is connected with the low quality of life. We examined 30 patients with post-stroke depression in 1-12 months of the ischemic stroke. Patients took antidepressant fluvoxamine for 6 weeks. Neurological, psychopathological and psychometric investigations in dynamics were carried out. It is established that the preparation is efficient both for treatment of depression and anxiety of patients who had ischemic stroke as well as it facilitates the rise of quality of life of these patients.
