Сохранение и укрепление населения в условиях Севера является приоритетной стратегической задачей Президента и Правительства Республики Саха (Якутия), медицинской науки, практического здравоохранения и инновационного развития региона, а обеспечение качественным оздоровительным питанием – важнейшей проблемой национальной безопасности и повышения качества жизни населения.Научно-исследовательским институтом здоровья Северо-восточного федерального университета им. М.К. Аммосова в динамике за 12 лет сформирована единая база по фактическому питанию среди различных групп населения республики; получены результаты клиникоэпидемиологических исследований по изучению нарушенных состояний и заболеваний, связанных с неудовлетворительным фактическим питанием и пищевыми привычками.Доказана взаимосвязь недостаточного питания с развитием осложнений во время беременности, родов, патологии плода и здоровья ребенка. Выявлена зависимость частоты респираторных инфекций, атопических состояний с продолжительностью грудного вскармливания, а также железодефицитных и остеопенических состояний у детей и подростков с недостаточным обеспечением рационов различными нутриентами, в том числе эссенциальными, такими как кальций и железо. Показана четкая взаимосвязь продолжительности грудного вскармливания и уровня образования матерей.Результаты многолетних научных исследований НИИ здоровья СВФУ явились обоснованием для принятия проекта Концепции государственной политики в области здорового питания населения Республики Саха (Якутия) в 2001 г. с планом основных мероприятий до 2005 г., выработки механизма организации мероприятий в области оптимизации питания населения республики, разработки различных нормативно-правовых документов, научно-методических рекомендаций и учебно-методических комплексов, а также проекта «Основы государственной политики в области здорового питания населения Республики Саха (Якутия) на период до 2025 года», одобренного на пленарном заседании межрегиональной научно-практической конференции «Питание – основа здорового образа жизни и здоровья населения в условиях Севера» 4-5 апреля 2012 г.Результаты научной деятельности способствуют разработке технологии и производства функциональных продуктов питания из местного сырья, а также развитию инновационной деятельности в целях сохранения и укрепления здоровья населения в условиях Севера.

Preservation and strengthening of population health in conditions of the North is the priority strategic mission of the President and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), medical science, practical public health services and innovative development of the region, and ensuring of qualitative health-improving feeding – national safety and improvement of quality of life of population.Unified data base on actual feeding of various groups of population of the republic in 12 years dynamics was made by the researchers of the Institute of Health of North-east Federal University named after M.K. Ammosov; the results of clinical-epidemiological studies of health disorders and diseases caused by unsatisfactory feeding and actual food habits were received.Correlation of insufficient feeding with development of complications during pregnancy, pathology of fetus and child health disorders was proved. Dependence of frequency of respiratory infections, atopic status upon duration of breast feeding of infant and also correlation of irondeficient and osteopenic status in children and teenagers with insufficient intake of various nutrients including essential as calcium and iron were revealed. There was shown clear interrelation of breast feeding duration with educational level of mothers.Results of long-term investigations carried out by Research Institute of Health, NEFU after M.K. Ammosov were used as basis for acceptance of the project of the Concept of State Policy in the Field of Healthy Feeding of the Population of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in 2001 with the plan of basic activities up to 2005, for development of mechanisms of optimization of feeding of population of the republic, development of various normative-legal documents, scientific-methodical recommendations and educational-methodical complexes, and also for development of the project «Bases of State Policy in the Field of Healthy Feeding of Population of the Republic Sakha (Yakutia) for the period till 2025» that was approved on plenary session of inter-regional scientific-practical conference «Feeding – Basis of Healthy Way of Life and Health of Population in Conditions of the North» held on 4-5 April, 2012.Results of scientific activity promote development of technology and manufacture of functional food stuffs from local raw products and also development of innovative activity aimed to preservation and strengthening of health of population in conditions of the North.
