<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The review presents data on the immunomodulatory role of angiogenic factors and myeloid suppressor cells. The mechanisms that play a key role in shaping the balance of proangiogenic and antiangiogenic factors, the role of endothelial growth factor (VEGF), placental growth factor (PlGF) and myeloid suppressor cells (MDSC, MS) in the development of gestational immunosuppression are shown. Data are presented on the molecular mechanisms of immunosuppression, the expression of check-point molecules that play a major role in the suppression of cellular immunity reactions. The role of tyrosine kinase receptors for proteins of the VEGF family - VEGF-1 (Flt-1), VEGFR-2 (KDR/Flk-1) in the regulation of immune responses has been characterized. Data are presented on the cross-regulatory interaction of angiogenic factors and myeloid suppressor cells and the immunomodulatory effect on cellular immunity responses. Disturbance of these mechanisms may be associated with the development of gestational complications, in particular preeclampsia. Based on the presented data, the possibility of evaluating VEGF and MS in pregnant women as prognostic biomarkers of preeclampsia is considered.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>фактор роста эндотелия сосудов (VEGF)</kwd><kwd>плацентарный фактор роста (PlGF)</kwd><kwd>миелоидные супрессорные клетки (MDSC</kwd><kwd>МС)</kwd><kwd>преэклампсия</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)</kwd><kwd>placental growth factor (PlGF)</kwd><kwd>myeloid suppressor cells (MDSC)</kwd><kwd>preeclampsia</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Преэклампсия сегодня: патогенез и возможности прогнозирования и лечения / А.Н.
